I’m sure by now we’ve all heard of the Yes To brand, right? Well they have expanded the line to Yes To Coconuts Hydrate & Restore and I received 3 products to try out.

For 2016 I am determined to up my skincare game. Instead of just sticking to simple scrubs, cleaners and moisturizers, I have been trying to incorporate more masks and eye creams as well. My skin isn’t awful, but it’s not what I thought it would be at 33 (almost 34).

First, a little about my skin type – I have combination skin, which is incredibly annoying. I get a super oily T-Zone but dryness around my chin, cheeks and jawline. I get mild breakouts around my nose and chin usually. My pores are HUGE too. I hate my pores. With a passion.

Yes To Coconuts is a line to hydrate and restore. Because of the oils my face likes to product, I’m usually a little hesitant with hydrating products, but the dryness in my face made me curious to try this out.

I received Yes to Coconuts Ultra Hydrating Facial Mask, Overnight Eye Balm and Melting Cleanser.

First off – the scent. I LOVE coconut scent when it’s done right. really strong, fake coconut scents turn my stomach. But when done correctly – it’s one of my favorites.

Yes To Coconuts did it right.

The scent is a very light, subtle coconut scent that doesn’t overwhelm your senses. You get the hint of coconut without feeling like you just doused yourself in it. Perfectly done.

Yes To Coconuts Ultra Hydrating Overnight Eye Balm is a lightweight cream that feels amazing on. My favorite of the 3 products. I apply just a little under my eyes and it helps with puffiness and dark circles and gave me a more “awake” appearance. The texture feels whipped – which I really like. I’ve tried other eye creams and it felt like I was slathering a thick cream on and felt too heavy on me.

If you are looking for a new eye cream – this is a definite one to check out.

Next up is the Yes To Coconuts Ultra Hydrating Melting Cleanser. I wanted to love this one, but it simply wasn’t for me. Now don’t get me wrong, if you have dry skin – I’m sure this works wonderfully. If you have oilier skin like me though, it’s not a great match. You can use this cleanser in 2 ways – either wet of dry. I have tried it both ways and preferred dry. When you apply it, it’s a thick emulsion like feel. It melts away makeup really well (I was impressed with this part of it!) When used wet it turns into a creamy feeling on your skin.

Again, the product itself worked great – but I wouldn’t recommend for oily skin. Yes To has plenty of other products in their line that work a bit better for oily skin. For me personally, I prefer Yes to Cucumbers Daily Gel Cleanser.

The third and final item I received was the Yes To Coconuts Ultra Hydrating Facial Mask. The mask is light weight and has a slightly thick creamy texture. It’s applied for 10 minute and the mask really adds a good amount of moisture into your skin. The only downfall is that it can leave a slightly oily residue behind, so I have to follow up with Yes to Cucumbers Facial Wipes. Aside from the residue, it doesn’t seem to cause my face to feel overly oily after use, but I can only use it once a week or it’s too much for me.

While it was nice, it is more suited for dry skin.

Overall, this was a nice set of Yes To products. The Ultra Hydrating Overnight Eye Balm is my favorite of the 3, and the other 2 items were nice, just simply not for my skin type. That’s ok though, I have other Yes To products I still love! If you have drier skin though, I definitely recommend this line.

One product I will be picking up soon from this line is the Yes to Coconut Protecting Hand & Cuticle Cream – while my face doesn’t need the extra moisture – my hands and cuticles do!
