pacifica acne warrior body wash

Pacifica skincare has become a staple for me. Their products seem to really agree with my skin and I feel like they actually make a difference. I have normal to oily skin with occasional hormonal acne and I use prescribed Clindamycin and Azelaic Acid daily. I think those medications have the biggest affect on my skin BUT I do believe the rest of my skincare is just as important. With that being said, let’s talk about the latest additions to my routine.

The Acne Warrior Body Scrub is $16.00 for 6 ounces of product. It fights body acne with 2% salicylic acid and witch hazel. It also contains niacinamide, cucumber and aloe. The scrub has a light cucumber scent and a watery consistency. It’s packaged in a sturdy plastic container with a screw on lid.

I typically don’t get body acne but one spot on my lower back kept breaking out so I decided to give this scrub a try. I do think all of my acne, face and body, is tied to my hormones but I believe this scrub helped to clear up the breakout faster. It definitely didn’t hinder the process or irritate my skin in any way. My only complaint with it is the consistency. It’s SO watery that it’s easy for the scrub to just run off your hand. If they would make it slightly thicker, it would be perfect. Overall, though, I do recommend it.

The Glow Baby Brightening Face Wash is $10.00 for 5 ounces of product. It claims to exfoliate and cleanse the skin by using vitamin C, AHA and vanilla. It does smell like vanilla and is packaged in a typical squeeze tube. The color of the actual face wash is bright yellow.

I like this face wash but I don’t absolutely love it. It smells amazing and does leave my skin feeling clean but it’s slightly annoying to use. The bright yellow color of the wash is messy and I would prefer it to be clear. This wash also wouldn’t be great for those with sensitive skin because I did occasionally experience irritation; that’s common with AHAs, though. I doubt I’ll repurchase this particular face wash but if you’re looking for something like this, it’s not bad.

On the other hand, I really loved the Glow Baby Booster Serum. It’s $16.00 for one fluid ounce of product. It contains vitamin C and glycolic acid to help brighten the skin and improve texture. It’s packaged in a glass bottle with a dropper and like the face wash, it’s smells like vanilla.

I really feel that this serum helped with the texture on my skin and just made it look healthier overall. Unlike with the face wash, I never experienced any irritation when using the serum. I’m currently out of it but I’m planning to buy another bottle soon and I really recommend it.

Final Thoughts:

Though all of these products weren’t new favorites, none of them were bad. I’d love to know if you use anything from the brand and what you think I should try next. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
