“My first record, Not Equal, is about being different from the crowd.” says Austyn Moffat, “it’s about being you, and if we were all equal what would the point of living be? No one would be different, we would all be the same and nothing would change.” Austyn started playing guitar when he was about six years old. His first guitar was given to him by his singer/songwriter/musician Uncle Jake Moffat. He started playing drums when he was around 12 years old and just started playing bass for his new record, Not Equal. He sang original songs when he was quite younger and taking guitar lessons from Jesse Tabish of Kunik and Other lives at Daddy O’s music in Stillwater, OK. He started singing again at the end of 2015, inspiration from Jake.
Music keeps Austyn’s heart beating. He lives for music, to express himself the best way he knows how. He likes to take everyday occurrences and turn them into a lyrical story to sing to the world. “I write about whatever happens” says Austyn, “I write all the time.” Austyn says he’s most proud as a writer when things come together and work. “Maybe one out of ten times it works, and that’s the moment I did it, I made something good.”
Ross Clayton:
Ross Clayton is a Oklahoma City Country singer by way of Chicago, IL. But don’t let his northern roots fool you, he is a Country Music singer, born and bred. Ross was trained at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago, and played for thousands across the Midwest for 2 years before moving to Oklahoma. Ross’ music is a bittersweet blend of modern Americana Country and old-school twang. Drawing his inspiration from a wide variety of artists like Zac Brown Band, George Strait, Bob Seger, Justin Townes Earle, and Ray LaMontagne. The list goes on in a number of different directions, from Western Swing to old school Hip-Hop. He doesn’t limit his interests to one genre or style of music.
Upon moving to OKC, Ross met his current drummer while they were both playing for a local band. Steven Sheffield. Steven comes from a well-known musical family from SW Oklahoma and has deep roots in the Oklahoma and Nashville music community. Steven has been playing professionally since the age of 16, and opening for acts like Leanne Rimes, while playing with members of Toby Keith and Johnny Lee’s band. Ross and Steven immediately hit it off, and immediately jumped at the chance to form something of their own. They brought in Lee Redman on lead guitar, Kris Olson on steel guitar, David Albert on bass and Delaney Sheffield singing back-up vocals, and formed the Ross Clayton Band. The rest as they say…is history!
The Ross Clayton Band is currently traveling down to Nashville to record. So, they are taking a break from the road, but will be playing local festivals and clubs every now and then, so be sure to check the website for an updated schedule and catch them when they come through your town! You can also download some of their original hits on the website or on iTunes and Amazon Music, Spotify, and any other streaming service you might use. They can’t wait to see you at their next show!

hONEyhoUSe:
“hONEyhoUSe” is a unique acoustic trio combining the talents of three very diverse and seasoned artists into one unexpected powerhouse force. Consisting of award winning R&B/Gospel soulstress Hillary Smith, earthy Blues/Folk singer-songwriter Yvonne Perea, and sweet voiced Mandy Buchanan, “hONEyhoUSe” seamlessly melds the lines of musical genres with their original creations embracing blues, soul, folk and Americana into one sweet Honeyhouse of music. Three very different voices with one path…hONEyhoUSe.
Hillary Smith – Vocals With a deep soulfulness rooted in the Gospel-driven churches of her youth, a classically trained vocal instrument that’s a natural wonder and a God-given instinct for swinging a lyric, vocalist Hillary Smith has been electrifying audiences across the US for more than a quarter century. She’s a belter, but her voice also possesses great warmth and expressiveness, and she is able to get under the skin of those in her audience.
Yvonne Perea – Vocals & Guitar With a seamless merging of folk, blues, and rock, Yvonne’s music captures her audience through her memorable melodies, relevant lyrics, and soulful earthy vocals. After hearing Yvonne or watching her perform live, you come away with the feeling that you’ve really seen a glimpse of Yvonne’s soul.
Mandy Buchanan – Vocals Red river musician, Mandy Buchanan always delivers a moving, powerful performance whether she is singing with just a guitar player or a full band. She began singing at the age of 4 in church and came from a very musical family. Mandy’s voice has been compared to that of Patsy Cline and Linda Ronstadt and her sweet voice will take you by surprise when you least expect it.
Coyette and the Haywire Band:
Coyette Camper grew up between El Reno and Calumet Ok and started playing music with her family over 30 yrs ago. The original Haywire Band was formed by and with her parents Stanley and Judy Camper, her cousin Terry Crawford and drummer John Wiggins. Many musicians have been apart of the Haywire family through the years and these day’s Kim Van Stavern is on guitar and has been off and on for the last 27 yrs and Bo Mcgregor is on drums. There are always special guests setting in with the band.
Coyette has played and sang with many wonderful musicians through the year’s and at many different venue’s but is always excited to come back home. Coyette and The Haywire Band played Burger Day for many year’s and were very happy to be asked back after a long absence. I love getting to see family and friends that we don’t see very often Coyette said when asked about coming home to play again.
