Maaaan, this was a game-changer for me in my skincare routine. In the past, my skincare routine consisted of a light oil-free moisturizer and face wash. Yes, I know it’s preposterous, but that was all, and my skin didn’t really thank me for it. I had only begun target treatments about a year back, but when I started to incorporate this emulsion, my skin’s texture had improved so much and has reached new levels of soft- we’re talking baby-butt level of soft here.
This is it’S SKIN Hyaluronic Acid Moisture emulsion. This is a South Korean beauty brand, specializing in skin care products, and this is the emulsion from their Hyaluronic Acid line.

Emulsions are basically like moisturizers, but a more watery version. These can be used either before or after your nutrition-heavy serums, ampoules, etc. In order to determine which order to use your emulsion, read the fine print and the instructions! For this product, I used it nightly right after cleansing my face before going onto my moisturizer. Sometimes, I loaded up a little bit more than the usual quarter-sized amount and substituted my daily moisturizer with the emulsion instead.

First impressions, this was clearly a substantially large container containing a lot of product, which I am very pleased about. I really like the packaging; it’s a sleek, minimalist frosted glass, and the cap is coloured uniformly to the rest of their respective line (hyaluronic acid line is pastel lavender, collagen line is pastel peach, etc.)
This was a Winners find for $16.99CAD; the product itself is 150ml. I was ecstatic and excited to find South Korean beauty and skincare products at Winners- look forward to more k-beauty hauls and reviews in the future!
The ingredients of this product is as follows: Water, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dimethicone, Butylene Glycol, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Malpighia Emarginata Fruit Extract, PEG-11 Methyl Ether Dimethicone, Portulaca Oleracea Flower/leaf/stem Extract, Vaccinium, Angustifolium Fruit Extract, Carbomer, Triethanol amine, Chlorphenesin, Caprylyl Glycol, Fragrance, Ethylhexylglycerin, C12-14 pareth-12, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate disodium edta, Hibiscus sabdariffa flower extract.

The important things about the ingredients are that:
- the fragrance safety level ranges from 1 to 4, according to the CosDNA scale, so it’s worth noting that this may not be a good product for those with sensitive skin and/or those sensitive to fragrance in their skincare products
- dimethicone, butylene glycol, and triethanol amine are components of this product, and these are known for contributing to acne- so they may possibly cause breakouts, especially if you are acne-prone!
After about a week, I was able to tell a subtle change in my skin. Adding this emulsion coupled with going from a routine with no emulsion at all, has made a considerable difference for the better. I was able to wake up in the mornings with plump skin that I hadn’t had before, and there was a certain luminosity and bounce-back to my skin.
The difference I believe this makes to my skincare routine is that it offers the majority of moisturization in my overall routine. This emulsion is also really light and quick-absorbant that I was able to wear it during the days as well and not feel weighed down by it! A bonus is that the hyaluronic acid almost forms a certain thin layer of protection over the surface of my skin, and it doesn’t interfere with my makeup routine, letting my foundation and base makeup sit beautifully on top, with none of that moving-around business.
