Appointment Information
At UT Health Austin, we focus on you, the whole patient, making sure that you have the support you need throughout your care. If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you have any of the conditions we treat, you can make an appointment with the Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Center by contacting the UT Health Austin Access Center directly at 1-833-UT CARES (1-833-882-2737) or by requesting a referral from your provider. We are committed to clear and timely communication with you, your referring provider, and other healthcare specialists, beginning with your initial visit and continuing throughout your cycle of care. Once our center receives a referral from your referring provider, members of the Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Center care team will identify any existing records of treatment in the UT Health Austin system and communicate with your referring provider to obtain needed medical records and other information. If you have received medical treatment from a provider other than your referring provider, your care team will contact you to receive written Authorization to Receive Medical Records from your other provider(s). The Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Center prefers to review relevant records prior to your initial appointment. In order for us to deliver the highest quality care and for your initial appointment to be meaningful, we strongly encourage you to confirm, prior to your appointment, that we have received all relevant records. In addition, if you have had prior imaging that was not completed through UT Health Austin, ARA Diagnostic Imaging, Ascension Seton, or St. David’s Medical Center, then we request you bring those images on a disc to your appointment or mail them to the Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Center prior to your appointment.
Self-Scheduling
Self-scheduling is now available only for follow-up appointments for established patients.
