Shirley Annette Cole Henderson, lovingly known to many as “Darling”, answered the call of her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at approximately 2:38 p.m., from her residence here in Paducah, Kentucky. Shirley was born in Jackson, TN, the beautiful daughter of Alvin Rogers and the late Willietta Cole on August 2, 1956; having been blessed to have travelled on this earthly pathway for 67 years, 11 months and 21 days.

Shirley, an Associate Minister of House of Hope Ministries, loved the Lord and took her position very seriously as she tried to bring those of whom she met closer to God.
Shirley leaves an array of family and friends to mourn her passing: Her Spouse, Fedegarik Henderson of Paducah, KY; Her Father, Alvin Rogers of St. Louis, MO; Two Daughters, LaQuella Bond of Brentwood, TN and Wilonda Bond (Vincent) Young of Clarksville, TN; One Granddaughter, Tasia Forrest, One Grandson, Lance Pryor; One Great-Granddaughter, Jayla Foreman; One Brother, Desmond Rogers of St. Louis, MO; Two Sisters, Carol (Robert) Bracy and Rhonda (James) Allen, both of St. Louis, MO; Three Aunts, Leona (Andrew) Mason of Paducah, KY, Shelia Willis of Jackson, TN, Lisa (Dr. Lee) Wilkins of Memphis, TN; One Uncle, Jesse Cole of Paducah, KY; Several Bonus Children, and A Host of Cousins and Friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Willietta Goodman; her grandson Malik Hamilton; her maternal grandparents Joe Louis and Jennie Mae Cole; her paternal grandparents, Dale and Darthula Rogers; two Aunts, Lizzie Ruth Bolden, Lucy Mae Russell and four uncles, Herman Cole, Richard Cole, James Cole, Julius Cole.

Shirley Annette Cole Henderson, our “Darling”, will be truly missed by us and all who loved and cared so much about her.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024, 1:00 p.m., at House of Hope Ministries with Pastor Michael Pryor officiating. Burial will follow in Henderson Cemetery in LaCenter, KY.
Friends may also call on the family at the church on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
