There’s no better time to get out on your bike than the Fall, and Richfield has some of the better bike paths in the Twin Cities. You can even pick up the Nine Mile Creek Regional Trail in Richfield…and follow it all the way to Hopkins if you’re ambitious!

Back to full strength after a quiet 2021 due to COVID, PennFest is the ultimate Richfield celebration each Fall. Taking place along Penn Ave. between Highway 62 and 68th St. on Sept. 18 from 1-5 p.m., PennFest features a mix of music, food and games—best explored on foot or by bike.
7 – Go to a Minnesota Whitecaps game at the Richfield Ice Arena
Welcome Richfield’s newest team, the Minnesota Whitecaps, to town this Fall at Richfield Ice Arena starting in November. This women’s hockey team should provide an entertaining night out for the whole family as we start to head into winter.
8 – Visit one of the few all-inclusive playgrounds in the Twin Cities
Accessibility is the rule at Augsburg Park, located right off Nicollet Ave. and 70th St. in Richfield. The playground includes accessible swings, 10-person accessible merry-go-round, ground-level musical instruments, crawl tunnels and inch worms, and a quiet spot when kids need a break from the action. Fully fenced except for entry.
