Fruits & Veggies by Earth Energy Supplements has some of the same ingredients as Balance of Nature and is available for less, but is it worth getting or a waste of money?
Bạn đang xem: Earth Energy Versus Balance of Nature: Are They Legit or a Scam?
This review of Earth Energy has a direct comparison with Balance of Nature for ingredients, pros and cons, monthly costs, side effects, if either one is a scam, and a verdict on their effectiveness.
What is Earth Energy Fruits & Veggies?
The company Earth Energy Natural Nutrition makes their Fruits & Veggies product, a blend of 11 different powdered vegetables and fruit, and sell it only on their own website. It comes in one container of 60 capsules and you take 2 a day for a 30-day supply.
Earth Energy Supplements are manufactured in the United States. Their website states that their products are, “made in the USA in a GMP certified and FDA regulated facility to ensure quality and effectiveness.”
What is Balance of Nature Fruits and Veggies?
Balance of Nature is made from 31 powdered fruits and vegetables. It‘s sold in 2 different tubs of 90 capsules each. You take 6 a day at the recommended dosage for a month-long supply.
The company says all of their produce is picked at the peak of ripeness and freeze-dried to retain the most nutrition. They also state that their products are third-party tested, non-GMO, gluten-free, and free of synthetic additives and chemicals.
Comparing Ingredient Labels
Both of these fruit and vegetable supplements contain similar powdered produce. Which one is better nutritionally in direct comparison though?

The only other ingredient listed is the gelatin capsule. Vegetarians and vegans beware that this is likely to be bovine or porcine in origin.

Which Ingredients List is Better?
Aside from ginger, all of the ingredients in Earth Energy can be found in Balance of Nature. It also has high-nutrition additions like broccoli, cayenne pepper, shiitake mushroom, wheatgrass, cranberry and aloe vera not found in Fruits & Veggies by Earth Energy.
Based purely on an ingredients comparison, Balance of Nature is clearly the better fruit and vegetable supplement. It also has a much higher daily dosage of 6 capsules providing around 4000 mg of whole food powder.
The recommended daily dose for Earth Energy vitamins is only 2 capsules providing 600 mg. This is far too small an amount to provide legitimate health benefits for most people.
While Earth Energy is cheaper than Balance of Nature, the price is still very high for such a small dose and limited ingredients. To be honest, Earth Energy Fruits & Veggies appears to be a second-rate and overpriced knockoff of Balance of Nature.
That said, both of these whole food supplements are very expensive and there are much better Balance of Nature alternatives out there.
PhytoFuel by Clean Nutraceuticals has over 70 different superfood ingredients, 5 probiotic strains, prebiotics and 6 digestive enzymes. Despite all this, you can get a 3-month supply for less than 1 month of Balance of Nature here on their website.

Other options include Superfood MD, a soy-free copy of Balance of Nature, for much less than both it and Earth Energy. Simply Nature’s Promise, with more nutrient-rich foods, a lower price and sourced only from local farms and orchards in the USA.
While this Field of Greens review has an organic green powder that is better than Balance of Nature in every way, yet still available at a lower price for a much healthier choice.
Earth Energy Pros and Cons
The company Earth Energy Natural Nutrition does make some decent supplements. Their Joint Support product has good ingredients. The Power Green Superfood Powder is overpriced but still a good formula. And their Raw Reds Energy Elixir is quite good value and something I’d personally take if I trusted the ingredient sourcing.
It’s difficult to see then how they got things so wrong with the Fruits & Veggies product. Balance of Nature’s formula isn’t that hard to beat, yet they didn’t even copy the best ingredients in it. I can understand why some people online would call Fruits & Veggies by Earth Energy a ripoff or a scam.
On another personal note, I find it difficult to trust a company that won’t clearly display the full ingredients list on the sales page of a product they are asking customers to pay top dollar for.
Nor one that won’t allow independent reviews from consumers. The only place I could find customer feedback on Earth Energy vitamins was on earthenergysupplementstore.com. Hardly an impartial source. There are 125 ratings there at the time of writing — all 5 stars. One could be forgiven for thinking this might be a hoax.
So in summary, Earth Energy pros would be manufactured in a GMP-certified and FDA-regulated facility (though I could find no proof of this on their business websites). And if you were looking for a red powder, then the Raw Reds product is worth considering.
Cons for Earth Energy Fruits & Veggies would include inadequate ingredients, no independent customer reviews, very overpriced at $45.95 per bottle for such a small dosage, and $6.95 shipping unless you buy at least 3 bottles at a time.
Balance of Nature Pros and Cons
Balance of Nature contains nutritious greens and veggies like kale, broccoli, spinach, shiitake mushrooms and wheatgrass. It also has high-antioxidant fruits and berries, such as blueberry, cranberry, strawberry and papaya.
The company have stated that all of their produce is harvested at peak ripeness and freeze-dried to retain the most nutritional elements.
Another pro for Balance of Nature is that the 6 capsule daily dosage would provide around 4000 mg of powdered vegetables and fruit. The 600 mg daily dose of Earth Energy vitamins is significantly smaller by comparison.
As to cons, Balance of Nature is an expensive supplement at $89.95 for a 30-day supply. Superfood MD the soy-free copycat is available for around half that cost. And JuiceFestiv is another good product that is around 6 times cheaper if you’re on a budget.
Balance of Nature Veggies contains soybean, a controversial additive found in a whole host of processed supermarket foods and one that can cause an allergic reaction for some people.
What’s Better Than Earth Energy or Balance of Nature?
The company Clean Nutraceuticals make a fruits and veggies supplement that is both nutritionally superior and much cheaper than either Balance of Nature or Earth Energy.
This newer product has a broad range of ingredients, with over 70 fruits, vegetables, greens and other superfoods. Their formula also contains prebiotics, probiotics, digestive enzymes and piperine for improved nutrient absorption.
Despite this, Clean Nutraceuticals costs less than Earth Energy with double the capsules. You can also get 3 bottles (a full 3 month supply) for less than 1 month of Balance of Nature here on their website.
Cost Comparison
Earth Energy Fruits and Veggies are only sold on the company’s website. You can’t buy it at Walmart, Costco, CVS, GNC, Sam’s Club, Walgreens or even on Amazon.
The retail price there is $45.95 + $6.95 postage for a single bottle. That works out at $52.90 for a monthly supply and $1.76 per day.
This would be mid-range for a high-quality superfood supplement in 2024. Unfortunately, as I think I’ve conclusively demonstrated in this Earth Energy review, this product simply isn’t worth that kind of money.
Balance of Nature cost is currently $89.95, on both the company’s website and on Amazon with free delivery. That comes to $2.99 a day if you take it as directed.
You can get it for a bit less if you ‘Subscribe & Save’ on balanceofnature.com. Be aware that this signs you up for ongoing monthly deliveries and some customers have complained about difficulties canceling their subscription or being overcharged.
Potential Side Effects
There should be no side effects for most people from taking Earth’s Energy fruits and vegetables capsules. Apart from the small amount of garlic, none of the ingredients listed are commonly recognized allergens or irritants.
Balance of Nature should be avoided by people with a soy allergy. A small percentage of customer reviewers also mention experiencing heartburn or an upset stomach after taking these fruit and vegetable pills.
Is Earth Energy a Scam?
Navigating the company’s 2 different websites for this Earth Energy review, one at earthenergysupplementstore.com, and one at earthenergysupplements.com, I was struck by how amateurish and light on important information they were.
Ingredient lists were not shown next to the product and had to be searched for independently, health claims were made without supporting information, and the 125 consumer ratings all being 5 stars I found very hard to believe.
So is Fruits & Veggies by Earth Energy a scam or just an overpriced ripoff of Balance of Nature? Either way, in my personal opinion there are far better superfood supplements available in 2024 from much more trustworthy companies.
Balance of Nature Versus Earth Energy: The Verdict
Balance of Nature has some good fruits and vegetables in its formulation alongside some average ones. It’s quite expensive for what you get and I suspect only so popular because of their relentless TV advertising.
This popularity has spawned many imitators. I’ve previously covered Superfood MD, a Balance of Nature copycat for around half the price.
Simply Nature’s Promise is a better alternative that’s also less expensive. As is Nature’s Sustenance, another cheaper yet superior superfood supplement.
This review of Earth Energy Fruits & Veggies is the first time I’ve come across a Balance of Nature competitor that has both much worse ingredients and is more costly overall for what you get.
In a direct comparison of Earth Energy vs Balance of Nature, the latter is clearly the winner. That doesn’t mean I’d recommend Balance of Nature though. In 2024 there are so many cheaper alternatives and superior substitutes.
Clean Nutraceuticals PhytoFuel is a significantly better whole food supplement, yet available for less than a third of the monthly cost. There’s an automatic reduction in the cart here on their website.
Field of Greens by Brickhouse Nutrition is another healthier and organic option for less. As is new 1UP Nutrition Greens and Reds, also organic and with a focus on digestive health.
With over 10 years experience researching nutritional supplements and superfoods, I’d personally skip both Earth Energy and Balance of Nature. You can do much better.
