One of the many brands that I have on my wishlist is Peach Slices. I got interested in them a few years ago during the ‘glass skin’ hype. FYI, Peach Slices is under the skincare brand Peach and Lily which has the Glass Skin Refining Serum in their lineup. Last February, they reached out to me and offered to send me their bestsellers. Here they are and here are my thoughts on some of them.

I’ve browsed thru the brand’s website after I received the package and found out that they have a lot to offer. They have specific lines though like the Redness Relief which I presume targets red and sensitive skin, or the Snail Rescue line which combines snail mucin and cica. By the way, those 2 skincare lines are what I’m really interested in. But for now, let me review what they sent me.
- The Acne Clarifying Cleanser comes in a plastic squeeze tube with 120 ml of product. It’s a gel type of a cleanser without any scent or fragrance. Its ingredient list contains 2% salicylic acid, glycerin, sodium hyaluronate and centella asiatica extract. I only use a small dollop of it because it lathers very well. It doesn’t feel drying on the skin but rather feels a little bit hydrating after washing it off. My face feels clean, soft and smooth. There’s no squeaky clean feeling and my face doesn’t feel tight or uncomfortable after. On my pH strips, it sits between pH 4 and 5. I’ve tested this numerous times on different days and the color change on my strips remains the same. This is the cleanser with the lowest pH level I’ve tried and one that’s closest and almost similar to healthy skin.
- The Snail Rescue All-In-One Deep Moisture Cream comes in a plastic squeeze tube with 80 g of product. It’s a white cream and doesn’t have any scent or fragrance too. It has snail secretion filtrate, glycerin, shea butter, hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate, centella asiatica (leaf & root) extracts, asiatic acid, asiaticoside, madecassic acid, madecassoside, birch juice, squalane, tocopherol, licorice root extract, pine bark extract and biosaccharide gum-1. This is a cream but it feels like butter in the sense that it melts easily into the skin. Once you start spreading and massaging it, it gets quickly absorbed. It doesn’t feel sticky or leave an oily residue. There’s a very tacky feeling at the start but after a few more seconds, it will feel smoother. It feels very hydrating that I’m able to apply it after washing it my face and not add other hydrating layers to my routine.
- The Snail Rescue Intensive Wash-Off Mask comes in a plastic tub with 100 ml of product. I was wholly expecting it with a small pastic spatula inside but unfortunately, it doesn’t have one. It’s times like these that I’m glad I never throw away the spatulas from other products I’ve used before so I can use those for the mask. It has 95% snail secretion filtrate, centella asiatica extract, licorice root extract, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid, strawberry extract and birch juice. The first time I tried this mask on, I laid it on quite thick on my face so it took some time before I was able to wash it off completely. From then on, I would only apply it thinly so it’s easier to remove. I leave it on my face for 15 minutes. It has a cooling sensation on the skin once it’s applied. After washing it off, it doesn’t have any visible changes on my face but skin feels hydrated and very soft.

They also sent me some pimple patches but my skin has been pretty good lately so I haven’t had the chance to really use them. Once I do get the chance, I’ll let you guys know what my experience is with those.
Here’s my before-and-after photo using the cleanser and moisturizer.
I absolutely love the products I’ve tried from them so far especially the cleanser and the moisturizer so I’m giving those my TWO THUMBS UP. I can see myself buying the two but the wash-off mask I can honestly live without. It doesn’t mean it’s not good but I’m more of a basic-skincare-routine girl nowadays because of the humid weather where I am. I think most skin types will like these except for those who are sensitive to their ingredients. If you’re not sure, I highly recommend doing a patch test for safety reasons.

Have you guys tried anything from this brand that you can recommend me? I really want to try more from them
