Marley Park, also called Heritage Park, 15210 W Sweetwater Ave, Surprise, AZ 85379 – This splash pad is covered, which is a huge plus in the hottest months! The kids were super excited to find the ring spray feature here, as well as two moveable sprayers. Little fountains will entertain smaller kiddos. A small playground is to the side, with a few swings, and seating is a long concrete wall. Maybe it was just the time of year we visited (September), but the water was actually warm too! So that was a plus for our review.

Veramonte Park, 12741 N 140th Ln, Surprise, AZ 85379 – Almost the opposite of Heritage Park, this park offers a large covered playground, and a small side splash pad. The splash pad was pretty fun, tho! Those tan circle in the above photo? They have water jets shooting out, but will also go higher when you jump on them! The half ring spray is also here, with some smaller fountains. The kids went back and forth between the splash pad and playground, since it’s so close! There’s a teeter-totter, climbing structure, some fun balancing obstacles, slides, and more.
Dick McComb Park, also called Surprise Farms Community Park, 17894 W Westpark Blvd, Surprise, AZ 85388 – the splash pad was underwhelming for us, looking cool at first, but offering just basic sprays and fountains. Maybe we missed a button for activating more fun? Either way, it’s still a way to cool off, and there’s a fun, spread out playground to enjoy as well. The playground is half shaded, with toddler and 5+ options. We didn’t stay long, as this was the third stop of the day and the kids were worn out. Next time we’ll come here first to enjoy the park!
